About Me

Hi, I am an associate professor at University of Central Oklahoma. I was a senior researcher and the security team lead at NEC Laboratories America where I worked on multiple interesting cyber security and computer system projects for nine years. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University. My research interest lies in System Security and Reliability solving research problems in System Diagnosis, System Reliability Issues, End-host Security, System Provenance with program analysis, runtime systems, operating system, and AI techniques. My academic advisor at Purdue was Prof. Dongyan Xu. Prof. Xiangyu Zhang, Prof. Gene Spafford (Spaf), and Prof. Sonia Fahmy were my thesis committee members. I was a member of a system research group, Lab FRIENDS and the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS).
